High-quality materials, fine craftsmanship and design establish our Western Red Cedar True Louver Shutter as a classic addition for new construction or renovation projects. They are hand constructed with the finest available western red cedar and corrosion-resistant wood screws. Our standard true stile and rail thickness is 1-1/8 inch thick, while our heavy duty variety boasts a full 1-3/8 inch thickness. This solid wood shutter's lightweight and durable design allows for several installation options and may be completed with our full line of hard-to-find hinge and tie-back hardware. We are glad to quote this line of shutter in any width and height. Additionally, we can accomodate your radius and specific rail placement needs.

Colonial

The Western Red Cedar Colonial True Louver Shutter is a stunning example of fine millwork. This line incorporates authentic mortise and tenon construction with 1-3/8 inch thick stiles and rails and 2-1/2 inch wide beveled slat to create an exterior louvered shutter that is as beautiful as it is solid. Each tenon is secured with two teak pegs. This historically correct approach towards construction utilizes no mechanical fasteners.

Savannah Plantation 

The Exterior Savannah Plantation Shuttter in Western Red Cedar enhances restored vintage buildings and adds classic detailing to new construction, but this all wood shutter is more than an elegant fashion treatment. This movable louver shutter is durable and totally functional. It lends itself to a variety of creative hanging options, which can be completed with hinges and tiebacks from our full line of hard-to-find Hardware. This shutter line is available in louver blade widths of 1-7/8, 2-3/8 and 3-1/2 inch.
